Stellar Summer Events in Southern California
WIB-Southern California has had great two wonderfully successful June and July events, and we are expecting the same for our August event. It’s hard to believe we are already wrapping up the summer months - time flies when you are having fun planning and hosting great WIB events…
Our June 25, 2015, event on Rare Diseases was exactly what we hoped it would be: a night full of exceptionally knowledgeable speakers speaking to a serious topic. This event brought attendees much awareness about the struggles that not only patients and their families have to face, but also the struggles of the doctors who treat them, and the researchers who try to discover treatments and cures.
Our July 21, 2015, book review of On Becoming Fearless…in Love, Work, and Life, by Arianna Huffington sold out quickly. The book is an inspiring read so there was no surprise as to why the event filled up as rapidly as it did.
We will conclude a stellar summer of WIB-Southern California programming with our upcoming August 26, 2015, event, “Lessons from a Successful Serial Entrepreneur in Biotech – a Fireside Chat with Wendy Johnson.” We are deeply honored to have Ms. Johnson, one of the most successful entrepreneurs in biotechnology, as our featured speaker for this event, and we look forward to an inspiring and informational evening! We would love to have you join us as we wrap of the summer season. Learn more about this event and register!
