She was Global Director Scientific Development -Biomarkers & Companion Diagnostics for Q2 Solutions (A Quintiles & Quest Diagnostics joint venture). She brings a lot of strategic values from her previous roles at Quest Diagnostics, Quintiles and Merck Schering Plough in the arena of biomarkers and companion diagnostics.
Shari is Director, Client Services for BioBridges where she serves as an advisor to emerging biotech and pharmaceutical companies in meeting their goals of getting new drugs and therapies to the patients that need them. For over 15 years, Shari has provided strategic level support, built whole teams, functional services and specific consulting support all with access to the most desired specialists in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. Shari serves on her local Economic Development Commission and is a Board Member for Kids Caring Foundation where she works with a group of youth who lead local service projects and want to make the world a better place.
Stacey is the Product Manager at Essential Pharmaceuticals, LLC. She is primarily involved in Marketing their bioprocessing and tissue preservation products, and also supports their medical device, Custodiol®, an organ preservation solution for organ transplant. Stacey earned a BS in Biology from Ursinus College in 2006 and went on to complete her Ph.D. in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics at UMDNJ (now Rutgers University) in 2012. Following graduation, Stacey spent 3+ years at Roka Bioscience, Inc., a start-up company that launched the first fully automated molecular pathogen detection system to the food safety industry. During her tenure at Roka, Stacey wore many hats, including Technical Trainer, Product Manager, and Manager of the Field Applications team. In her free time, she enjoys doing gymnastics, a sport she has been involved with since she was 3 years old.
Lisa Burgese Fry currently manages the direct placement division for Azzur Group. Azzur provides contracting and direct placement resources to life sciences from Discovery to Delivery. Lisa works directly with life science decision makers to implement key strategic initiatives through either staff augmentation or direct placement in order to improve business performance and achieve business goals.
Lisa has over 20 years of project management and business development experience. She holds a B.S from Philadelphia University and M.B.A. from Eastern University. Lisa is also Health & Life licensed in NJ. Lisa volunteers her time to her children’s school organizations as well as JRA of NJ to deliver food to those in need.
Sue supports global engineering projects for production of vaccine and biopharmaceutical products at Integrated Project Services, LLC (IPS). As principal of SB Executive Consulting, LLC, she focuses on providing clients with process development, regulatory and technology transfer expertise. She earned her BS in Chemical Engineering from University of Michigan and PhD from University of California-Berkeley. She enjoys spending time with her three daughters and travelling to visit friends and family.
Rachel Kane is currently a Manager with Navigate, with 11 years of in-depth management consulting experience. In this role, Rachel focuses on helping clients solve their business problems. Dr. Sambamurthy is a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Pennsylvania, with extensive experience in cell and molecular biology, focused on understanding pathways involved in inflammation. She received her doctorate in Cellular and Molecular Pathology from the University of Pittsburgh. Understanding the importance of early experiences in shaping an individual’s life choices, she is keen on promoting STEM education and careers especially amongst girls and young women.
Reese McDermott is an Account Manager at Accenture, Accelerated R&D Services in Berywn, PA. In this role, Reese provides clinical and regulatory outsourcing services, focused on speeding the drug development process for pharma and biotech clients. She earned her BS in Pharmaceutical Marketing and MBA from Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia. She is interested in helping young women pursue education and careers in STEM.
Jennifer is a Project Architect at EwingCole, a national architecture and engineering firm in Philadelphia, with over 10 years of experience designing sustainable facilities, specializing in laboratories and office environments for Life Science clients.
