BIO is the world's largest trade association representing all sectors of the biotech industry including companies, universities, government and non-profit organizations. Women In Bio has a long-standing alliance with BIO and holds its annual celebration at the BIO International Convention each year. WIB also is an exhibitor and holds Meetups at the BIO convention, which serves as a key venue for people around the country and the world to get together, expand their network and benefit from both organizations.

WIB Washington DC/Baltimore is partnering with BIOBuzz. For over 4 years BioBuzz has been hosting the community at monthly networking events and social gatherings. BioBuzz is working to build a stronger community by bringing the biotech workforce out of the offices and labs to culture relationships, instead of cells. By building a stronger social community we will enhance business and job opportunities for everyone in the region. Women In Bio - DC/Baltimore chapter will partner with BioBuzz to help promote each other's events that will further strengthen the local biotech community.
WIB Washington DC/Baltimore is partnering with BioHealth Innovation. BHI is a regional innovation intermediary that accelerates and facilitates technology transfer and commercialization of market-relevant research in federal labs, universities, and biohealth companies in the Region. It is a private-public partnership in the form of a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit that connects the Region’s innovation assets to provide integrated technical knowledge, financial means and entrepreneurial/managerial expertise to turn promise into prosperity for the region while advancing human health.
WIB Washington DC/Baltimore is parentering with Maryland Department of Commerce. Maryland's Department of Commerce focuses on attracting, retaining, and expanding businesses and creating jobs in Maryland, and markets Maryland’s many assets to companies across the nation and abroad.
WIB-Chicago is partnering with the American Medical Women’s Association, an organization which functions at the local, national, and international level to advance women in medicine and improve women's health, to promote events and collaborate on programs that bring together Chicago’s vibrant life sciences community.
