For young students with a passion for STEM
Our Mission
Young Women In Bio (YWIB) strives to provide educational, hands-on, and virtual experiences in STEM. Through our chapters across the United States and Canada, YWIB partners with leading companies, universities, hospitals, and other organizations to host highly engaging, educational, and motivational programs for young women interested in STEM. Who we are
YWIB gives young women today the inspiration and support they need to become tomorrow’s leaders in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). We strive to provide education and hands-on experience in STEM and share our passion for all scientific fields. Through our chapters across the United States and Canada, YWIB partners with leading companies, universities, hospitals, and other organizations to host highly engaging, educational, and motivational programs for young women interested in STEM.
The YWIB Ambassador Program
Young Women In Bio (YWIB) launched the YWIB Ambassador program in 2020 for students interested in championing and supporting the organization’s efforts to create educational and leadership opportunities in STEM for young women. Each school year, YWIB welcomes approximately 20 students to the new class of Ambassadors.
A Chapter Near You
The WIB Network expands far and wide across North America. Currently, we have 12 chapter cities that host events every month, creating engaging and inspiring spaces for all women in the life sciences.
WIB Chapters host over 250 events per year, and create deliver unique experiences and programming for high school students, executive women, mentors and mentees, entrepreneurs, and more!
