Dear WIB Community,
I am thrilled to write to you today as I celebrate my first month as the Executive Director of Women In Bio. I am incredibly grateful to the hiring committee and the board of directors for entrusting me with this esteemed role and for the warm welcome I have received from all of you.
In the spirit of this month’s theme of Making Connections, I’m happy to be representing Women In Bio at BIO International Convention next week. Our presence will be truly remarkable, and I am grateful for the opportunity to connect with so many inspiring individuals who share our vision for empowering women in the life sciences.
Looking ahead, I am excited to announce that we will begin a strategic planning process this month involving input from our dedicated members, partners, and stakeholders to chart a clear course for the future of WIB. I am committed to serving you all to the best of my abilities and working tirelessly to propel WIB toward a stronger, more inclusive organization that champions the advancement of all women in the life sciences.
