On January 10, 2024, senior executive women met in San Francisco for this exciting and unique networking opportunity that brought together leaders and bold thinkers in the life sciences and healthcare industry to make new connections and share learned experiences. The event featured Kulleni Gebreyes, Principal, US Consulting Life Sciences & Health Care Industry Leader and US Chief Health Equity Officer at Deloitte, and Gina Ford, Executive Director of Women In Bio.
Attendees enjoyed a happy hour full of networking conversations, drinks, and hors d’oeuvres and had the opportunity to appreciate works of art on display at the Martin Lawrence Gallery. Following the networking happy hour, attendees gathered to listen and learn from Dr. Kulleni Gebreyes about her career experiences and her upbringing in Ethiopia, explaining how she persevered and built a successful career despite the odds. Gina Ford presented the Women In Bio organization to the attendees and provided an overview of WIB’s programs, initiatives, and mission.
