Dear WIB Community,
April is Volunteer Appreciation Month! Did you know we have over 400 volunteers working tirelessly to provide networking, professional development, and mentoring opportunities for women in the life sciences? Without our volunteers, WIB could not function. Our volunteers provide a crucial role by working with our National Staff to help put the WIB mission into action, carry out our Strategic Plans, and expand the impact our community has on the life sciences and beyond.
Every volunteer hour spent with WIB is important, and we are so grateful for all volunteers who put in anywhere from one hour a month to 20 hours a week. Our volunteers’ selflessness and commitment to WIB empower us to thrive as a community and advance diversity and inclusion in our industry. We thank each and every one of them for their unwavering support and for being champions of change.
