Nancy Tyrrell is Vice President at Portal Innovations, where she supports the growth of early-stage life science companies and helps university researchers translate innovative concepts into commercial opportunities. She brings more than 30 years of experience in venture capital and business development with entrepreneurial life sciences startups.
Nancy has been an active leader within Women In Bio for over 15 years. She has served as the Chicago Chapter Chair and on the Chicago Advisory Board. Nancy has also served on a variety of local and national WIB committees.
She has also served on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the Alzheimer’s Association Illinois Chapter, where she chaired the Research Committee. She is deeply committed to advancing innovation, supporting entrepreneurs, and fostering opportunities for women in the life sciences industry.
