Dear WIB Community,
As we close out 2025, I’ve been reflecting on what this year has meant for Women In Bio, the life sciences industry, and for the thousands of women who make up this community. Together, we hosted nearly 300 events, welcomed more than 17,000 registrants, grew our LinkedIn community to over 31,000 followers, awarded 10 Impact Scholarships, and saw more than 180,000 visits to our website. Behind every one of those numbers is a person who showed up: to learn, to lead, to share, to support someone else.
What stood out most to me this year is the power of community. None of us is meant to navigate big career moves, leadership challenges, or industry shifts alone. Again and again, I’ve watched WIB members step up for one another — making introductions, sharing hard-won lessons, mentoring emerging leaders, and creating space for honest and intentional conversations about what it really takes to grow in this industry. That generosity is what makes WIB so special.
To our volunteers, thank you for the countless hours you invest in planning events, mentoring others, and championing WIB in your local ecosystems. To our members, thank you for trusting us with your time, energy, and ambitions. To our sponsors and partners, we are so grateful to have you as partners who believe in the importance of investing in women’s careers and leadership in life sciences. And to our small but mighty staff team, thank you for your unwavering commitment to this mission.
As we look ahead to 2026, WIB’s focus is clear: deepen the value we deliver to members, expand opportunities for meaningful connection and mentorship across career stages, and continue building programs that future-proof both individual careers and the broader life sciences ecosystem.
Thank you for being part of Women In Bio. Wishing you a restful, joyful end to the year and a bright start to the next.
With gratitude,
Gina Ford, WIB CEO
